Refueling Station Diorama

I set this diorama up to show Mel Ebbles Onager tracked utility vehicle. I modified the olive drab one with medic symbols in GIMP (photoshop clone). The terrain board is from CNC workshop. All figures are from the now defunct Rackham AT-43 line. Also shown is the UD-41 dropship (Ebbles), and hiding in some crates you can see part of an Itoyo utility robot (Ebbles).

  1. I gotta say these card buildings and vehicles really look the part. Its hard to tell at a distance that they are made from card! Great stuff

  2. Thanks! I always print my stuff on flyer/brochure paper or matte photo paper. It's worth a few extra bucks for the best print quality. Then you gotta do a good job coloring the fold edges. 8)

  3. I agree with Brummie here, that my sound cliche, but the more I watch it, the more I want to touch it.

The table itself here, thats paper model or hand made? Except the sand, ofcourse?

  4. That's high praise. 8) The tiles are a CNC workshop set. They are laser cut mdf, you glue it together, flock with crater rubble then paint it up. it looks good, but it was a lot of work considering how expensive the unassembled, unpainted tiles were. There is an undamaged tile set you can get but I never did for that reason.

  5. One of the things that can ruin a card model is not edging or edging badly. Your edging is spot on and your models look very clean. Well done, Werewolf8. Oh, and you're so right about using good quality photo paper. It makes a world of difference.
